Privacy Policy

AsAISeesIt.com (“AsAISeesIt”, “we”) is operated by [Operator legal name, to be confirmed], [Operator postal address, to be confirmed]. This page explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and the choices you have. Questions: hello@asaiseesit.com.

What we collect

• Your email address, to send your report and the other emails described below.
• The store address you enter, and text from that store's public pages: product titles, descriptions, types and prices from the public catalog, collection names, the homepage title and description, the About page, shipping and returns pages, and robots.txt. We only read pages anyone can see. We never ask for or use your Shopify login, admin access or private data, and we don't change anything on your store.
• Questions you add yourself in the Audit (up to 2).
• Your IP address, used for rate limits and abuse prevention.
• Your choice about tips emails (ticked or not) and when you made it.
• Order details from Creem: what you bought, when, the amount and your email. We never see or store your card details.

What we send to AI providers

The service works by asking AI assistants questions through their official APIs. To do that we send data to these providers:

• OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini) and Perplexity: shopper-style questions written from your store's public text (for example “best soy candle gift for a busy mum under $50”), any questions you add in the Audit, and your store's web address so we can ask how each assistant describes your store. These assistants may use web search to read your public store pages while answering.
• OpenAI also receives excerpts of your public store text (store name, homepage title and description, About text, collection names, and titles, types, prices and short descriptions of up to 25 products) so we can work out what you sell and who it is for, and to rewrite questions into natural shopper language. We may use one of the other providers above for this step in future, and will update this page if we do.
• We never send your email address, IP address or order details to any AI provider.

Each provider processes this data under its own API terms and privacy policy: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini API and Perplexity. The answers they return are stored in your report.

Our emails

• Always sent: your report email, and emails about anything you buy, such as your receipt (from Creem), your Audit being ready, Monitoring reports and a reminder before your free Monitoring month ends.
• Founding buyers: if you buy the Audit at the $29 founding price, we send one email asking for an honest review, because that price is offered in exchange for a review. What you say is up to you, and no reward depends on it.
• Only if you tick the box: tips emails and occasional offers, including a short welcome series. The box under the sign-up form starts unticked. If you leave it unticked, you only get the emails above.
• Every tips email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also reply or email us to stop. Unsubscribing from tips doesn't stop emails about something you bought.

Other services we use

• Creem, our merchant of record, which processes payments, tax and invoices under its own privacy policy.
• Kit, our email list provider, only if you tick the tips box.
• Resend, to deliver report and purchase emails.
• Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database) and Cloudflare (domain, email forwarding and Turnstile bot protection on our forms).

We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising. Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States.

Why we use your data (legal bases)

• To run the scan, send your report and deliver what you buy: to provide the service you asked for.
• Rate limits, bot protection and fraud prevention: our legitimate interest in keeping the service working and fair.
• Tips emails: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Order records: to meet tax and accounting law.

How long we keep it

Scan reports, the store text we read and the AI answers are kept for 12 months so your report link keeps working, then deleted. Order records are kept as long as tax law requires. If you unsubscribe from tips, we keep a record of that so we don't email you tips again.

Your choices and rights

To see, correct, export or delete your data, or to object to how we use it, email hello@asaiseesit.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority. The service is for business owners and isn't aimed at children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above, and for important changes we will tell you by email.
